Welland Canal Status: Real-Time Bridge Status and Boat Schedule Widget
Welland Canal Status is a free Android app developed by Tom Koole that allows you to have a bridge status and boat schedule widget on your home screen. You can also view the status of all bridges in the app. The data is limited to real-time status only.
One of the app's features is a 15-minute warning prior to boat arrival to avoid the bridge raising sooner. Custom update intervals are available for widgets, and you can swipe down to refresh the app view, which refreshes every 15 seconds. Additionally, you can add bridges to your favorites for easy access. Android Wear notifications for the current bridge state are color-coded.
